The ShEquity Technical Assistance (TA) Facility is a dedicated, philanthropy-backed initiative designed to de-risk a pipeline of gender-smart, climate-focused SME ventures targeted for our investment. Operating alongside our investment strategy, the TA Facility plays a critical role in supporting high-potential businesses operating in underserved segments of Africa’s climate value chains.
By addressing both capacity and financing gaps, the TA Facility helps SMEs become investment-ready, pursue environmental certifications, and unlock access to climate finance, including carbon credit markets.

SHEBA: ShEquity Business Accelerator
SHEBA is our flagship investment readiness program designed to equip women-led and gender-inclusive ventures with the tools to scale. Through masterclasses, workshops, climate certificate coaching, market validation, and pitching opportunities, SHEBA supports the growth of bankable, investable businesses.
Since 2021, SHEBA has supported over 150 women-led businesses in West Africa to prepare for investment and scale sustainably.
